General Show Information
Admission:
$15 per day and $25 per weekend pass (Texas shows) and $20 per day and $35 per weekend pass (Vegas Show). Children under 12 get in free! Cash only at the door, there is an ATM but we do recommend you bring enough cash to avoid the fees. Entertainment is all inclusive in your admissions price. Tickets are sold at the door only.
Show Hours:
The Tattoo Expo opens at 12:00pm on Friday and we stop admitting people at 10pm. The doors officially close when the last tattoo is completed. The doors re-open at 12:00pm on Saturday and close when the last tattoo of the day is completed. On Sunday the doors open at 12:00pm and the show closes at 8:00pm. We ask that people schedule their work to be complete as close to 8:00pm as possible so that we can get everything cleared out.
Contests: Best Ink of the Day Awards will be judged at 9pm on Friday and Saturday and at 7:00pm on Sunday. Best Ink of the Weekend will be judged on Sunday at 7:30pm. All other contest categories will be judged beginning at 3pm on Sunday. You may enter multiple tattoos into contests but you may only enter one category per tattoo. And as always, Contest entries are FREE for work performed at the show only. All other contest entries are $10.

Entertainment:
Austin Ink Fest 08 will feature live entertainment by THE ENIGMA as well as side shows by Texas Ink and the Human Suspension Show as well as live music by various performers. Additionally, we will be crowning Ms. Ink Fest at 7pm on Saturday night. Please stay tuned for information about entertainment for other tattoo shows.
Seminars: Rob Hill will be performing his Dermal Anchoring Seminar in Vegas. David Nestler will be performing a Pinup Artist Seminar: From Pencil to Paint: A comprehensive class covering Tips, Techniques, and Troubleshooting for both mediums. A sketch demonstration will include; Choosing proper photo reference,Tracing, Materials and Pencil techniques. The paint portion focuses on Working with Acrylics. Materials, Setting up a working color palette and Brush technique. All attendees will receive a free copy of Dave’s newest book “Nestler Girls” volume #1 as a complimentary gift for attending the seminar. $200 - 2 TO 3 hours a 50 % DEPOSIT MUST BE MADE AHEAD OF TIME . Art Gallery:
We will have an art gallery open during the duration of the show. All prints will be available for sale at the show. Although we will have an ATM machine, we recommend that you bring plenty of cash to avoid ATM charges.

Austin Ink Fest Friday and Saturday night afterparty will be hosted by the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. They will be doing the preview of the Sailor Jerry movie exclusive for our event!
